What’s Your Mission?

When the sun comes up, do you slam the snooze button to delay your day? Or do you wake up eager and excited to pursue your goals?

After a long day of work, do you crack open a beer and watch sports? Or do you open up a book to teach yourself a new skill?

Life has much more meaning when you give yourself a mission. It can be anything. Maybe you want to learn to play the piano. Maybe you want to take up surfing. Maybe you want to start an online business.

How we choose to spend our spare time has a tremendous compounding effect on us and those around us. Imagine how much different your life would be if you chose to allocate a single hour of your spare time to a meaningful mission of your choice, every day for a year.

People are born with limitless possibilities, able to become, do, and see whatever they want throughout the course of their lives. Yet many people spend thousands of hours watching TV, scrolling through Facebook, keeping up with the Kardashians, mindlessly browsing the internet, staying up to date with “News” that has no relation to their lives or interests, etc.

It’s often these very people who scoff at those who have built incredible lives by staying true to their missions, day in and day out.
